On speaking with this candidate, his
enthusiasm for, and deep knowledge of, interactive technologies really comes
across. He has a great understanding of the very latest technologies breaking
new ground in the AV industry, but in addition to this he has the communication
skills and personality to convey his knowledge and passion for the subject. I
expect that his new employer will benefit technically as well as commercially
from this candidate’s skill set.
An experienced
solutions architect whose most recent experience has been the design, pre-sales
and project management of interactive technologies for a major manufacturer with
a base in the UK. This varied role has seen him design bespoke systems for
large corporate clients, including interactive digital signage, kiosk
solutions, point of sale solutions and arena VIP entrance solutions. The
technologies he has utilised in these systems include gesture control, touch
screens, laser surface, biometric facial recognition, gender and age recognition.
This candidate has a strong background in IT, allowing him to design solutions
from the infrastructure up. He has a proven ability to marry differing
technologies into an integrated system that works in real world applications. His
solutions have been and are currently being utilised in retail environments,
exhibitions and sports & entertainment venues.
As well as technical
design and site surveying, this candidate is strong in client facing
situations, championing interactive solutions to clients and explaining the
capabilities and benefits of the technologies to non-technical decision makers.
He is also confident presenting solutions to clients following an in-depth
pre-sales meeting to understand the business needs of the clients and creating an
appropriate solution.
This candidate is now
actively looking for a new opportunity that offers career progression and a
focus on digital media. He is based in Hertfordshire with an easy commute into
London (which he has done regularly). He is available immediately and is
looking for a permanent opportunity where he can make use of his knowledge and
work with interesting technologies on challenging projects. His previous salary
was £45K but he is flexible on this as his main priority is to find an exciting
role that offers long term career progression opportunities and the chance to
keep working with cutting edge interactive tech.
